Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has emerged victorious at the presidential primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) by polling the highest votes.

Newscreeds Media reports Atiku defeated all other aspirants with a wide margin to emerge the winner of Saturday’s primary election held at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

Atiku will now be the official candidate of the PDP for the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria.

Nyesom Wike – 237 votes

Bukola Saraki – 70 votes

Emmanuel Udom – 38 votes

Bala Mohammed – 20 votes

Anyim Pius – 14 votes
