After failing to qualify Nigeria’s Super Eagles for the 2022 World Cup, a source in the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) told Newsmen that Austin Eguavoen decided to resign.

Qatar will host the FIFA World Cup between November And December 2022.

According to the source, Austin Eguavoen has already handed to the NFF, his resignation letter.

Although the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) is yet to release an official statement to inform the public of his resignation.

It should be recalled that the country failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cups after a home draw with Ghana on Tuesday, March 29th.
