On Saturday, European champions Chelsea opened their Premier League campaign with a 3-0 victory over London rivals Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge. Below is the Highlights: Chelsea crush Crystal Palace 3 : 0 in EPL first Game
The Blues dominated Palace from start to end three days after winning the UEFA Super Cup on penalties against Villarreal, adding to their Champions League title in May.
Christian Pulisic was one of five changes from the midweek cup success, and he added to Marcos Alonso’s 27th-minute opening before half-time.

Trevoh Chalobah made his league debut for Chelsea with a fantastic goal, giving the returning home fans enough to cheer about in Palace’s first game under Patrick Vieira.
Earlyon, goal scorers Alonso and Pulisic collaborated, with the latter glancing a header on target that Vicente Guaita saved.
Mason Mount put Guaita to the test with a free-kick, but the Palace goalkeeper couldn’t stop Alonso from looping the ball over the wall and into the net from 25 yards.

This Premier League season could be the most competitive yet in terms of title contention, with Chelsea firmly in the driver’s seat with the club-record return of Romelu Lukaku.
Despite the absence of the prolific scorer in this inaugural encounter, the hosts looked impressive from the start against a Palace side still in the early stages of development.

In eight days, Chelsea will face Premier League rivals Arsenal, while Palace will entertain newly promoted Brentford next Saturday.
