The Mexican man used TikTok to tell the story of how he donated his kidney to his ex mother.
Within a month of their break-up, his girlfriend left him and married someone else.
Martinez’s video has since gone viral, with many people sympathizing with him.
In response to the words of encouragement he got, he informed everyone that he is doing OK, both psychologically and physically. He also stated that he is doing well after a kidney transplant.
Despite the heartbreak, he stated that he holds no resentment against his ex-girlfriend.
“I don’t have anything against her… we’re not friends, but we don’t dislike each other,” he told Mexico Daily News. I merely made the video for TikTok, and I didn’t expect it to go viral.”
