According to him “The Chelsea midfielder is impossible not to adore. Aside from being fantastic on the field, he always appears to be smiling off it ”
“We’ve been playing chess — I have to say he’s better than me,” Giroud told talkSPORT Breakfast.
“I challenged him to a game of Scrabble, and I’m clearly better than him, so much better.”
“He’s a funny guy, a top man, and he hates losing.” He sometimes tries everything to win, which is amusing.
“That’s why, alongside the national team, we wrote this song about how he always strives to find a way to avoid defeat.”
“He never, ever gives up.” On the field, he attempts to step up and is crucial for Chelsea and the national team.
“Off the field, he despises losing and it causes him to be sad and angry at times.” I constantly try to make him laugh; he’s a great guy.”
Kante was justifiably named to the Ballon d’Or shortlist and is vying for the top award alongside Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, and Chelsea teammate Jorginho.
“He had a fantastic season last year,” the striker continued. He played a significant role in the Champions League victory, but I believe he deserves to be in there.
“There are powerful players close to him who can help him win.” I’m quite delighted and proud of him since he’s so good”.
The 40 years old striker secures a permanent move to AC Milan in January transfer window, where he is currently playing alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovich.
