According to FIFA, twenty-seven (27) countries will be participating in this year 2022 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted in Qatar between November and December 2022.

The teams that would be claiming the remaining five spots are yet to be determined. This is due to the fact that there are still some playoff matches yet to be played.
