Visa Launches NFTs Program to Fund Digital Artists. World top leading Payment company, Visa inc. has launched a programme that will guides and sponsor different groups of creative artists globally on how to used technological inventions like non-fungible token (NFTs) and the impact of the new cryptographic invention.


The company says it is currently partnering with Micah Drew Johnson, a former professional baseball player turned Digital artist to empowered groups of artists and shows them the benefits of the new technology and how it can help change the world of technological cryptographic.


The 30 years old Micah Johnson is happens to be the creator of Aku, a non-fungible token based character.
He said that NFTs unlocked an opportunity for me to build a community of people interested in supporting my work — in a way that goes way beyond simply liking or sharing.


Visa, who recently completed the purchase of $165K Cryptopunk NFT in August 2021 all paid in etherum, said that it will fund a small group of artists, which will be supervised by Johnson, they will be taught how to create and sell digital goods using blockchain-based tools. These artists will also be advised on how to monetise their work using both digital and traditional payment channels.
